General informationEuropean nationals holding an EU passports need
an entry visa for Uganda. Visa ExemptionsNationals of the countries listed below are exempted from visa requirements for travel to Uganda. They do however, need to have a current passport issued by their respective countries.Members of COMESA: Angola, Burundi, Comoros, Eritrea, Kenya, Malawi Mauritius, Madagascar, Rwanda, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Others exempted are: Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Fiji, Gambia, Grenada, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malta, Sierra Leone, Singapore Solomon Islands St Vincent & the Grenadines, Tonga, Vanuatu, Italy (Only diplomatic passport holders) and Cyprus. Visa Requirements:

Processing time for a visa is one working day, provided the application is made in the morning. If application is made in the afternoon, the visa will be ready the next day. Visa fees and other details: €38 for single entry visa valid for three months from the date of arrival. €76 for Multiple entry visa valid for six (6) months. Visa fees must be paid on submission of visa application. Personal Checks are not accepted. Please note that the visa fee is non-refundable. NB: Failure to complete the application form fully may result in the issuance of a visa being delayed or refused. The visa enables the holder to proceed to a port of entry where he/she must comply with the laws and regulations governing the admission of persons to the Republic of Uganda. Issuance of a visa does not guarantee entry into the country. That is at the discretion of immigration officials at the point of entry.
